A calling answered in every season
Early Faith and Calling
Baptized on an Easter Sunday, Will Huff asked Jesus Christ into his life at 10 years old. He actively participated in Young Life and Campus Life youth groups throughout high school and college, and became the first Black student body president at both his high school and his college.
Ordination and Ministry Leadership
In 1992, Huff heeded the Lord’s call to serve and was first ordained under Dr. J. Alfred Smith, Sr. at Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland, California — where his father served as a deacon and his mother helped start and chaired the church’s Business and Professional Women’s ministry. In 1994, Huff was ordained Reverend Huff by Dr. J.A. Smith, Sr.
A career as a healthcare sales executive moved Huff to Southern California, where he became an active member of House of Prayer, Church of God in Christ, under Supt. Grant P. Gridiron, Pastor, and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. He completed ordination — graduating with distinction in the class of ’95–’96 — in the First Jurisdiction of Southern California, Church of God in Christ, under Presiding Bishop Emeritus Charles E. Blake, Sr., Jurisdictional Prelate.
An elevation to Vice President at a Fortune 25 corporation returned Huff to Northern California, where he served under Bishop J.W. Macklin, Prelate of the Northern California Metro Jurisdiction and 1st Assistant Presiding Bishop of the Church of God in Christ, Inc., Worldwide — among the leaders of Bishop Macklin’s quorum of Elders and Men’s ministry, and a frequent teacher of Sunday School and mid-week Bible study at Glad Tidings International, C.O.G.I.C. in Hayward, California.
Elder Huff currently supports the international ministry of Bishop Matthew L. Brown, Th.D., Jurisdictional Prelate of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, 2nd Jurisdiction, and pastor of Greater Community Church of God In Christ in Marietta, Georgia. He serves on several ministries, including the Men’s Council and the Ordination Board of Elders, and regularly teaches Sunday School — having graduated from the Church of God In Christ’s national International Sunday School program for Teacher Effectiveness and Advancement Certification.
Founding HIS Will Works Ministry
As Elder Huff entered a new era of service, the Holy Spirit was asking him, “Is it my turn?” — a call to level up his priorities. In obedience, Elder Huff founded and became CEO of Huff In Service (H.I.S.) Will Works Ministry, Inc., a federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) Georgia non-profit corporation. Its mission is to teach the unvarnished Word of God and to serve God’s people through works of faith (James 2:14-26).
Education and Family
Will is a proud girl-dad of four daughters and a “Big Daddy” to a grandson. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in pre-law from California Polytechnic State University, a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the University of California, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Executive Career
- Cigna Health (subsidiary): Enterprise Client Executive and General Manager of a multi-million-dollar book of business, accelerating client value through long-term consultative strategy and executive relationship management.
- Amazon: Strategic Growth leader for two healthcare business units — Amazon Care and Amazon Web Services.
- Sutter Health / Aetna joint venture: Head of Market Development, achieving 4x year-over-year growth during his tenure.
- Kaiser Permanente: Led Market Strategy for two of Kaiser’s most prominent service areas, each with over three hundred thousand members, hitting growth and retention targets by partnering with physician and care-delivery leaders.
- UnitedHealth Group: Multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Sales/Account Management at UnitedHealthcare, and at Optum, Vice President of Business Development and Senior Director of Customer Analytics.
Community Involvement
Will Huff resides in Peachtree City, Georgia, where he mentors small businesses and entrepreneurs as a volunteer with SCORE, Atlanta Metro Chapter.

Will holds a Bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo; a law degree from the University of California, Davis; and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California.
